This M65 Jacket was produced by the John Ownbey Company, a company founded in 1955 to supply the U.S. Government with jackets and bomber jackets for the increasing number of pilots after World War 2. With John Ownbey produced jackets seeing action in some of the most decisive air battles during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. This John Ownbey M65 manufactured in 1981, features a removable inner liner as well as a hood that can be rolled up and zipped inside the collar. It both zips up and buttons up for added insulation. Featuring four button down pockets on the front of the jacket for added storage.
