This U. S. Navy field jacket dates back to the 1940’s and was commonly seen on the East Coast in the Atlantic/European Theater during World War 2. The blazer feature shoulder epaulets indicating the original wearers rank of Ensign, the lowest commissioned officer rank in the Navy. Also featured are four front pockets with flap button closures and buttons featuring the U. S. Navy crest. The authentic design and historical significance of this blazer make it a nice addition to any collection.
